Experimental design 1. Selection and treatment of experimental animals One hundred sows were selected, and 50 of them were fed with300 ppm of “ANTAI” one month before parturition, and the other 50 were fed with normal feeding method. After parturition the 50 sows in the “ANTAI” experimental group continued to use “ANTAI”, and 25 of the 50 s in the control group were randomly selected to use “ANTAI”, and the other 25 were fed with normal feeding method.

2、Feeding management

Before the experiment, the pigsty was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. The pigs had free access to water and were exposed to natural. The immunization schedule followed the routine procedures of the farm. "Antipept" was added to the feed, with two feedings per day for pregnant sows one month parturition, and then gradually increased to three times after parturition. During the experiment, a special person was responsible for the feeding management of the experimental pigs. The lasted from one month before parturition to one week after weaning, and the amount of feed consumed was recorded.

Fifty sows that started using "ANTAI" one month before parturition had 33 more total piglets than sows that not use "ANTAI", with an average of 0.66 more piglets per litter, 1.01 more live piglets per litter an increase in the rate of live piglets by 10.08%, an increase in birth weight by 10.4%, and a decrease in the of stillbirths by 32.55%, weak piglets by 47.28%, and mummies by 37.14. From the above data, it can be seen that the use of "ANTAI" one month before parturition has an excellent effect on improving the reproductive performance sows.

1、Effect of "ANTAI" on the feed intake of sows Under normal feeding conditions, sows are fed 2- kg of pregnant sow feed per day per head one month before giving birth, during which time sows often have anorexia. On the day of giving birth, sows very little, and start to eat small amounts the next day. The amount of feed is gradually increased from 1 kg per head per day, and after a week it is increased 5-7 kg. When 300ppm of "ANTAI" was added to the diet, some of the sows' anorexia disappeared a week, and the sows' appetite improved significantly. The feed intake of the sows was grouped and counted for one month after giving birth. The control group of 2 sows ate a total of 4195 kg in 30 days, with an average of 4.76 kg per head per day. Group A of the, 25 sows, ate a total of 4590 kg in 30 days, with an average of 5.19 kg per head per. Group B of the experiment, 50 sows, ate a total of 9326 kg in 30 days, with an average of 5.2 kg per head per day. From the above statistical data analysis, it can be concluded that: "ANTAI" can effectively regulate the digestive function of the sow'sines, increase the feed intake of the sow during lactation, thereby ensuring that the lactating sow's condition is maintained, which is conducive to the recovery the sow's reproductive function, and the effect is better with long-term use.


2、Effect of "Anpept" on feces Among the 50 sows that did not use "ANTAI", 44 (88%) of them had black, dry, and grape-shaped feces in the late stage of pregnancy and for a period of time after child, with poor defecation, longer defecation time, and the defecation time was about fifteen seconds (normally it is usually three to five seconds). From 44 sows, 25 were randomly selected, and 300ppm of "ANTAI" was added to their feed. After the third day of, 24 (96%) of them began to soften and moisten the inside of their feces. From the fifth day, the feces were dark brownish yellow soft, and the defecation time gradually returned to normal. The other 25 sows were used as blank controls, and except for 6 that had normal defec, the other 19 sows had dry, black, and spherical feces, and it was not until 15-20 days after childbirth that they returned normal. Among the 50 sows that used "ANTAI" one month before childbirth, only 2 (4%) had black, dry fe after childbirth. The other 48 (96%) had normal defecation after childbirth. Sows that did not use "ANTAI" before childbirth did not defecate on the first day after childbirth, while sows that used "ANTAI" one month before childbirth began to defecate on the first after childbirth, with soft feces.


3. Effect of Antep on the Oestrus Rate within 7 Days Post-Weaning After weaning, one sow wasulled in the control group, leaving 24, two sows were culled in Group A, leaving 23, and two sows were culled Group B, leaving 48. The number of sows in estrus in the control group within 7 days was 21, with an oestrus rate of 7.5%, the oestrus rate within 7 days in Group A was 100%, and the oestrus rate within 7 days in Group was 48, with an oestrus rate of 97.4%. The statistical data of the average number of days in estrus post-weaning for group were as follows: the average number of days in estrus for the control group was 5.38 days, Group A was 4.55, and Group was 4.31. Group A was 0.83 days earlier than the control group, and Group B was 1.07 days earlier than the control. From the above statistical analysis, it can be concluded that: "ANTAI" can improve the oestrus rate of sows within 7 days to a certain extent, shorten number of days in oestrus of weaned sows, and may be closely related to the improvement of the sows' feed intake during lactation, the maintenance of theows' body condition, and the health of the sows.
